Which dog walking field is right for me?
Find your perfect dog field
Answer a few quick questions and we’ll suggest the field that best suits you and your dog.
Do you need an all-weather track suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs?
If yes, we’ll recommend the only field with full all-weather access.
Recommended field: Carr
Carr is our most private field and the only one with an all-weather track, making it ideal if accessibility or predictability really matters. It’s gently undulating with lots of space for calm decompression. There’s no sandpit here (many reactive/easily overstimulated dogs prefer that), and there is a tunnel for exploring and fun photos.
Recommended field: Walkington
Walkington is our smallest field and one of our most private — a favourite for reactive dogs and first visits. Its size and enclosed feel also make it excellent for recall training. It’s undulating and secure, with a sandpit for keen diggers and a tunnel for confidence-building or playful photos.
Recommended field: Burton Gates
Burton Gates is a flat, medium-sized field on higher land, so it generally stays drier for longer in winter. Sitting on the edge of the Wolds, it has beautiful open views and particularly lovely sunsets. It has a sandpit, and no tunnel (a simple, open layout).
Best options for maximum privacy: Carr or Walkington
Based on your answers, privacy is the most important factor. Carr and Walkington are our most secluded fields, both offering excellent separation and a calm environment for reactive dogs. If you’re unsure which to choose, try one — and if it’s not quite right, we’ll happily offer a free slot at the other.
Note: Carr is the only field with an all-weather track. Walkington is excellent for recall training.
Best options: Near Ings or Far Ings
You’ve gone for flat ground close to Beverley — Near Ings and Far Ings are both excellent choices with lots of space. Near Ings has a tunnel; Far Ings doesn’t (a simpler open layout). Far Ings is our largest field — well over 7 acres.
Best options: Carr or Manor
You’ve chosen undulating ground close to Beverley. Carr offers maximum privacy (and the only all-weather track), while Manor gives a more open countryside feel with lots of space and variety underfoot.
Top picks for you
You’re flexible, which gives you some great options. Carr, Manor and Near Ings are our most versatile fields and suit a wide range of dogs and walking styles. If you’re not sure where to start, choose the most convenient one.
